We want to inform you that we have again began facility-wide testing. All residents and employees who have never tested positive for COVID-19 via a PCR test will be tested during this facility wide testing. During our first round of tests this week, we have one resident who has a positive result. Family and ADPH have been notified, and CDC report will be updated as well. We will continue to test our employees at a minimum of every 14 days and residents as deemed appropriate related to testing results and clinical presentations.
Our center continues to follow the recommendations of the CDC on prevention and mitigation steps, including following strict handwashing procedures, social distancing when possible and utilizing all appropriate PPE. We are staying up-to-date with the CDC recommendations as they are updated. In addition, our facility is in close contact with the local and state health department and are following their guidance. The safety of our residents and staff is very important to us and it is a privilege that we do not take lightly.
At this time visitation is still restricted and we continue to encourage you to participate in window visits and virtual visits via FaceTime, Skype and other Android applications such as IMO and Google Duo. Our social services staff is here to assist you, so please reach out to them for an appointment time.
